My dad got some snowshoes for his anniversary last month, and I got some for Christmas, so we decided to head up to the property to try them out. Since the property is our hunting grounds, we made the excuse to set up a trail camera and to get some of dad's Bushclass USA lessons done.

We had a great day together, and really enjoyed our time together up there.

We had a great lunch, found LOTS of different animal tracks, and best of all, we got to spend the day together doing stuff we love.

I'm happy to hear you can take your kids with you. Keep it up

The spice tin is awesome. It goes with me everytime.

Great outing. Congrats to you and your father. Looks like pretty country.

Great video and pictures bro

Looking good!!

How did the snowshoes perform? Snow doesn't look to deep.

Some of the snow got to be around 18 inches in some spots. They worked pretty good. This was my first time on them, so there is nothing for me to compare them with. I was happy with how they performed.

That's an awesome outing! Snowshoeing is allot fun. Glad your Dad and you can do it together!

Nice area, glad you got out.

Surprised you've still got bears out this late in the year. Can't tell from the pic but the two center toes appear very similar in size and shape, if so that's a large canine of some sort.

Man I wish we'd get some snow already.

Great pics bro.

Im envious of the times you have with your dad Trevor. I love that you share those times with all of us. You both are very blessed. I think its funny that your dad fuels your gear hoarding tendencies too..... he is an enabler!! Good for him lol.

That wasn't the best pic of the paw print. The others made it clear that it was a bear.

Yeah, we both hoard pretty well.

So - Where was this?
Reminds me of the years I lived on "Our Mountain" (NW of Spokane) - Same terrain and woods.

This is just north of Chewelah on some private land

Great pics and video its great to see you getting out with your dad in some great looking snow we didnt get any till just tonight.
