Anyone you ever thought of, or is using a Crosman 250 count, .177 pellet can for a small survival tin? it's about the size of a dip can. i was able to fit a short fero rod with striker, wire saw, safety pins, water purify tablets, 2 razor bades, 2ft of tin foil, and 2 cotton swabs soaked in vaseline, wraped up in tin foil. Anymore ideas?

I thought about it but as i don't really shoot many pellets never got around to it. But it sounds good enough and Im looking for something to do i mite ask a friend for one of his tins.

I have 3 or 4 of those lying around from my air rifle. I used one for char cloth, one I carry my sling in, and one of them have a fishing kit. The other I don't know what to do with. They are round so they don't fit neatly in your pocket like an Altoids tin, but they are a great way to re-purpose a used tin.

Gamo Airguns sells a nifty screw top round tin of BB and pellet ammo. They fit in the watch pocket of most jeans. I use one with some fiberglass insulation held in place with some metal window screen as a small alcohol stove (reuseable "heat tab") for my USGI canteen set up.

They'd be good as a mini EDC PSK as well, along with a pocket knife, fire steel and a bandana.
