Nice tutorial Gaga, thanks.

I've not seen anyone put their string nock on top. Do you find it helps with prevent pinching the nock?

the nock is on top of the arrow always , you can install 2 , one down and one up, -
-But i like to use finger-savers -rubber slip on string tubes, that help if you shoot with a glove not to cut the circulation in your fingers -if you shot a lot ...like 1-2H with 12 arrows nonstop

I have mine set up with the nock under the arrow and use two fingers under. I wear a glove. I find having the nock under the arrow supports it and keeps my finger off of the arrow.

The nock on top helps keep the arrow from falling off the string, as the tip tends to pitch downward (the nock then pitches up).
Those bow square things seem like a great investment.
Another way to put a string nock is using dental floss. Same basic steps up to pinching the metal nock: at that point take a length of floss, and tie overhand knots until you have enough build up, and then tie it off. I then dab a bit of super glue on it an let it dry. If anything is poking out, I clip it with fingernail clippers.
Great Tutorial.

I've seen the finger savers and thought about buying them a time or two, but never got around to it.

MrKnobbie, I don't have a problem with the arrow dipping, but I'm not shooting broadheads, just field points right now.

bump, maybe you need to install a new string ....adding some more pics
