North of Ottawa meet?

We're probably a bit too far out of the way for this to work, but I'd love to share this land and learn from everyone so I figured it was worth a try.

We live on a 150ac plot about 45 minutes north of Ottawa, Ontario with a river, pond, woodlot and 'homesteading' area. There are a few pics in this thread already and a few thousand more on our blog: A Northern Life.

We live and work on the land so any time of the year (barring blackfly season!) is good for me and we can easily arrange stays from 1 day to a couple of weeks for groups of any size at all.

Various events I have started planning have all fallen through because we're just not on the route to anywhere, really. Living out here has a ton of benefits... meeting people is not one of them.
