The words of the seven year old, planning our winter break:

"Next time we can go in the woods and bring some stuff for cocoa and bring your big fire stuff."

"Last year my snow pants got really cold from the really cold water that was in the snow. When I was sitting down it started going down in my pants. And I was laying down a lot, because I was really exhausted and tired."

"I was thinking we can go camping again. We should bring really warm clothes and a big stove in the tent that will make us warm. The big tent, not the one we used last time, the kind with the closing, I mean with a zipper, so it could get zipped. So that would be fun, but in a blizzard it could be cold. So we should bring a car so we could run and put the stuff in the car and drive home. And then have some more hot chocolate." :44:

"You could use your coffee cup and then drink some hot chocolate when you're driving and people could see you drinking it. Is it dangerous to drive with your feet while you drink hot chocolate?" :44:

well you need: a big tent-tent stove-big pot on stove-1 gallon hot chocolate powder
ski pants- down jacket -wool socks and hat -and your set , merry Christmas!!

Good stuff Brionic! Hope your children's break from school is filled with joy and laughter.

I so wished that I had recorded the quips and statements of my children, there were some epic conversations for sure.
