You usually can't retrieve them from most sites if that's what you mean you have to have it reset and there is usually a spot when you log in to reset it look for forgot your password

Found it, thank you E R. :57: I know someone who recently joined and can't remember their password.

Log off
Go to the sign on place and there should be a place you can click that says Forgot your password. It'll walk you thru resetting it thru your email. HTH
