I just put a knot in the ends to attach to the bow.

THANKS!!

Great idea! Nicely demonstrated. Ya beat me to it with this concept. I was recently experimenting with a bread loaf bag, though.

These days, people tend to have at least one plastic bag like that with them. I know I do when I go backpacking. Good to know it's a viable option if need be.

Yet another Classic! LOL

THANKS!!

What a great idea. Good thinking on making the cordage. I must confess, at first I thought I was reading the Walmart bushcraft thread. :) Just kidding, just had to throw that in for giggles. Very cool though, making do.

lol. We need to get you out more, my friend.

Awesome work, but what is next? I want to see....

Flint and steel struck off the bumper of your truck
bowdrill strung with chest hair
maybe some natural cordage bungee jumping :)

Good stuff Enigma.

I'm in the middle of reading John McPherson's book. In it he talks about using human hair for bow drill cordage. If I show up to a meet with red human hair bowdrill cordage, be wary cause I'm getting more and more bald everyday.

Cool deal J.

You are hardcore bro. On a daily basis, you make me realize I have accomplished nothing in life. :D

This was a great idea....everyone knows that these bags grow on trees...or alt least seems so...I see tham hanging everywhere...in all sorts of trees and bushes.
Good use of found material.

Whatever!!!

I am just trying to keep up with everyone !!!!!!!

You guys ROCK!!!!!!

Did the bread bag work better than the Walmart bag ?

I have to give this a GO!!

GREAT JOB!

I didn't have much trouble with it at all. I'd say it was slightly harder as there was no handle for my tension finger (a finger loop). The small knot I tied on the end of the bowstring worked well as I held the end of it with my thumb against my index finger. I wouldn't mind using either option, but grocery bags are more commonly available than bread bags. It was a good experiment. I liked it.

I tried a newspaper bag as well, but it didn't work as it stretched like taffy.

Yes, give it a try. It's good experience and you'll know it's reasonably possible.

That's great! I really love the finger technique -I'm definitely going to try that -thx for the idea
