My better half, Coyote Lady, is heading to Baltimore Sunday the 8th to be with her mother as she makes the journey home. The hard decision was made to put this 85 year young lady in Hospice due to her systems finally shutting down. She is the wife of a retired 101st AB that she met in her home country of Germany just after WWII when he was still stationed there. They have lived all these many years together, with a couple of times apart while he was overseas in Korea and Vietnam, and she has been the love of his life. She EARNED her citizenship in 1960 and together they have raised 3 daughter who have now had to make this hard decision. Prayers are very welcome for her in this transition to her new home where she will finally be pain free. She has suffered numerous strokes over the last year and her body has finally begun to shut down.

Thank you all in advance for the prayers and smoke to help her make this journey.

Update: As of the 12th, Coyote's mother is still with us but it is only a matter of time. She has gangrene in both legs with no circulation. She is taking some fluids each day but very little. Having nursed Hospice patients, I have seen some hang on for a couple of weeks or longer in this condition. coyote and her older sister have come to terms with this but their younger sister is still in denial. We are praying for her pain to be lifted as soon as possible where she can rest with the Lord.

God bless, my friend.

(WWII, Korea and Vietnam! It's taking a few minutes to get my head around that. Wow!)

You and you family are in our thoughts.
