Polishing Micarta

I have seen some Matte and some Shiny micarta handles. If I had a knife that had rather dull scales, what is the process of bringing them to shiny? I have zero knife making tools or knowledge.

If you have a fast drill or drill press, go to HomeDepot and buy the small polishing kit they sell in the tools dept. They give you white rouge and a few sewn wheels.

Sand from 300 grit to 400-600 dependig what kind of shine you want.
