My sister-in-law lost her sister to cancer about 4am this morning. She was only in her early 40s, and has 4 kids ranging from about 13 to about 20. I ask those of you who are so inclined to say a prayer for her and for her grieving family. I can only imagine what it must be like for those kids to lose their mother on Christmas morning. Thank you.

Just saw this. My prayers for some sort of peace for the family over time. what a terrible thing to have happen on Xmas day!

Thanks to all of you. Her funeral is tomorrow, and naturally we are offering plenty of prayers ourselves. Fortunately they are a very close-knit family, so they do a great job of supporting each other. We are from a small town, and my family is very intertwined with hers (my brother and 2 of my cousins married into her family). I'm sure they will be ok in the long run but right now, and presumably every future Christmas, is a very difficult time for them. Again, thanks to all of you who took the time to pray for her and for them. May God keep her, and may He comfort them.
