Prayers for our military

Yes, not much media or information coming from independent sources in Iran these days. Likely not something many news sources will report on anyhow.
MS NOW did a pretty indepth segment on it this morning.

Shiite Muslims in multiple countries (India, Pakistan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, others) are protesting the killing of Khameni, a Shia cleric. This could get really big, really bad, really quick.

Some of you people.....

Not one peep from some of you about 36000+ protesters slaughtered by the Iranian government.

Not one peep about the Iranian govt now going house to house, building to building shooting their own people.

Not one peep about the innocent people in Cyrpus, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi, UAE, Israel that Iran is targeting and killing. Anyone know how many of them have been killed/wounded by Iran since Friday?

But, False/unverified reporting about school children being killed and you comment about it.

To top if off, those posting about those kids and blaiming Israel or the US, don't offer a word of prayers/smoke for our troops in harms way and not a word about 6 confirmed US military KIA.

I've been working 14 hour night shifts supporting our efforts over there since Friday, and doing everything within my power to do everything I can to help our warfighters to try and make sure they get home safe. From the bottom of my heart to those hating our country and our troops ,,l,,

Every night since Friday, before I step into my building, I pray for those in harms way, and for the ability to do everything I can to do my job to the best of my ability to aid them in their's. And I will do so every time I arrive at work until this conflict is over.

Leave it to you to be negative on a Prayers and Smoke thread. If you feel like more prayers towards unmentioned people need them, mention them. For some reason you think it is OK to spout out your anger here, then find a way to make it about yourself.

I just read the first 4 KIA were reservists from a sustainment unit, each from different states: Florida, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa. The two recently recovered were from the same unit. This is a reflection of the changing nature of our military when 1) Reservists are the first casualties. 2) Their reserve unit isn't homogenous to one state. It means we are less insulated from military operations, more likely to have a neighbor, friend, co-worker involved. All the more reason to pray for our troops, because these aren't somebody else's 19 year old active duty kids from some large post in another state.

And media hasn't verified who did it either. They've speculated and guessed but not verified.
There are two primary options: USA or Israel. There is also the possibility of a failed/misdirected Iranian weapon. None of the three is likely to own up to it.

The central point remains: many children lost their lives.

Allegedly.

And those aren't the only options, nice false dichotomy you've set up there.

Where's your thoughts and prayers for the hundreds of people, in multiple countries that are not at war with Iran, that Iran bombed/droned and killed? Any sympathy for them?

Where's the thoughts and prayers for American military members that are putting their lives on the line in attempts to shoot down those missiles/drones to prevent them from hitting countries like Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi, the island of Cyrpus, and most recently Turkey?

How about the 6 American pilots that were shot down in a friendly fire incident when they were in the middle of trying to shoot down Iranian drones and missiles headed to Kuwait?

Thoughts and prayers for the innocent Iranians that are now being killed by Iranian military and militias in Iran? Any commentary on them?

Forgive me, but I call them like I see them. You can disagree with this conflict and question our leaders all you wish. But when our warfighters are blamed for something there is no verification of other than something from known propaganda outlets, for whatever your reasoning, I won't sit idly by and allow them to be smeared.

People are allowed to give prayers to who they want to, not who you want them to…. You must not go to church much.

I know if there was any current, or even slightly reliable facts about the school rumors, the majority of our press in the US would have been screaming and yelling from the rooftops 24/7. The fact that they are silent as crickets tells me all I need to know. I most certainly hope it is not true.

Again prayers for our troops, and innocents in the area. I'm done here.

The school bombing is now being widely reported. Hegseth is only saying that they are “investigating” it. Plenty of sources if you Google it. I don’t want to clog up a prayer thread with links, but here is a NYT article on a picture of the burial (click here).
