I volunteered to do some stress testing on some samples of Robert's hand sewn leather approx 9 months ago.
I finally finished the testing...

Robert Jones had this to say about the testing:
"those (test) belt loops are the exact same size as the belt loop on a Jeff White Camp (thrower) knife. The glue just holds the leather in place until I can sew it. If my leatherwork can stand that much pressure, they should hold up just fine in the field!"
 
My thanks to FJason123 for doing this.
It broke right where I thought it would.
In the interest of advancing the science of sheath making, I would like to have one more volunteer, to try one more test. This new test would have one of the same samples and a new one which I believe will do markedly better.

Any volunteers? You would need to video tape the test.
