ROKON RT 140

Hi, just saw a ROKON on kelowna craigs list for 1250$ its a rear wheel drive 140 cc ...anyone know about the rear wheel drive models? please let me know
i spoke with the guy and he's coming to my area tommorow and is willing to bring it over

IMO the whole point of a rokon was the 2wd, if its just RWD id rather get a dirt bike or a dual sport.

I agree.

One of my hunting partners has two Rokons; both are two wheel drive. Without two wheel drive, a Rokon is somewhat unwieldly and awkward.
Better a Honda Trail 90 or Trail 120... if you can find one.

Thanx guys, yeah i think your right im reading up on them and if the tranny is an "albion auto" then it could be near imposible to fix/find parts etc. the guy who's selling it does'nt even know what year but says it starts up and runs good...Im gonna continue searchin the web and if anyone knows more info-greatly appreciated...Thanx

One could always give him a way lowball offer as a test and tell him it stood until you find something you like better.

The old trail 90's are pretty awesome if you can get your hands on one. (sold the one dad bought back in the day and still kick my self mentally for that mistake>)

It turns out they only made these rear drive a few years (early 70's) and the "Albion" auto tranny they used on this bike and 2 other 2wd models are near imposible to get parts for so i will pass...Thanx y'all

I good trials bike will get you more places in better comfort than a RWD Rokon.
