scabbard strop

rubbed some CrO2 into the edge of my sheath.
Was going to do the main part of the sheath but hesitated. why not make your sheath a strop?

Maybe it will prove handy, or maybe it will attract grime. Is a pretty green regardless.

I've actually stropped my knife on it's sheath edge.... so, I would love to hear how this works after you've used it some.

I'm going to be making a sheath for a new knife here in a bit and putting a strop on the back side of it is part of the plan.

I use the front of my sheath as a strop when I'm out. I don't put any compound on it though.
