French Trade Knife by Scott. It is 13.5" overall and 1/8" at the spine. American Osage Orange scales. Pics do no justice, outstanding craftmanship.
Sheath by John Cohea, pics says it all. Perfect combination! As usual, Scott is a gentleman and a dream to work with. Thanks Scott and Thanks John!!!! Two more projects in the works!

Scott makes some awesome blades! This is the first sheath of John's that I've seen. Good looking leatherwork.

That's a nice set-up, Ka-Bar! Now you need a time machine so you can go hang out with the mountain men. LOL. I really like the shape of the handle, and the osage looks great. I hope she serves you well.

NOW, THAT IS A KNOIFE:7: Being an old buckskinner and history nut, I just love knives of that era. It would do well in almost all situations, including food prep where many, if not most bush-specific knives, tend to stumble a bit.

Yup, that's what I was going to say!
