Scout being Scout.

Scoot, you ole dawg….

My doofus swims in the winter too, momma wasn’t pleased. He was testing the ice (when we had some) and I called him back because I wasn’t about to go in after him!

Good stuff Joe and Scout!

nice......caught some nice walleye in there 20+ years ago- and a few shopping carts.

too cool. It may not be picture perfect...but Scout's lesson of "fun is where you find it" is great! :D

You Canadians have all the beautiful views, That's God's country up there.

So the question is do you have a hard time getting him in the bathtub?

Yuck the Dee troit river is a bad one. If scoot starts growing a human leg out of his side after swimming in that water; can I call dibs on it? :D

Man, ain't that the truth. Dogs... you can't get them to take a bath but they'll roll around in a swamp or a mud puddle in a heartbeat. Give 'em a nice clean bowl of water, they drink out of the rain gutter instead :34:

Nice! Dogs just don't seem to care about how cold or nasty it is when they love the water. One of mine was jumping in the water then rolling around in the sand last month down at the Gila River. It took quite a while in the tub to clean her up that night. Momma wasn't happy at all.

One of my dogs (also named Scout) was swimming in the St. Croix river on the border of Maine and NB in November. She wanted to go catch a seal she saw swimming. Crazy animals.

Actually the screen shot of the video has the camera showing Detroit, MI :D :D

Naw, that is the old view of things. There are places on the Detroit that are Gorgeous with wonderful islands, sandy beaches and teaming with wildlife. Stay off the near shore U.S. side and you are away from most of the contaminated sediments. I've been working on the Detroit River since 2000 and have had the pleasure to have been to just about every square meter on its surface by boat. Sure, there are some ugly spots. But there is some paradise there as well. Don't count out the Great Lakes yet, they are North America's crown jewels and they will be the source of the Great Lakes States and Ontario's riches in the next 100 years!

ahhh dogs...ya can't take em anywhere's
but where ever they are...well thats where i wanna be...woods
