Nice looking blade! If you like seax, you should read a book by Bernard Cornwall called The Last Kingdom. It's set in Saxon England and the main character uses a seax as one of his weapons. Apparently, it was pretty handy when in a shield wall for stabbing under and around shields of your enemy.

Read the whole series and that is exactly what I had in mind when I created this. I did want it a bit longer but what can you do.

So have I! He is one of my favorite writers. I've also read the Grail Quest series and the all of the Sharps Books along with Agincourt.

Great job on that, I got a machete I plan on turning into a seax eventually myself and hope it comes out as nice as yours did. Bernard Cornwall is a awesome writer, I've read his book on Agincourt and Stonehenge as well as Sword Song on audiobook, will have to check out those others he has written.

Lol - I'm in the middle of that series right now and was thinking exactly the same thing. :D

Cool seax!
