I was lucky enough to be able to purchase a knife that I have wanted to try out for some time.
A Ray Laconico Woods Knife..This knife is a full flat grind in 1/8
Scout and I got dropped off at the Prairie where Ken and I hike.
I sawed off a length of seasoned cottonwood to do a little fire prep using my knife.
No problems battoning with the 1/8 thick blade.
The spine is super sharp, I don't usually make scrapings, but I had to try the spine out for that job.
I just built a tiny fire, the only reason I made one was because I wanted to play with the knife a bit.
This area is never under water, but because of all the rain, it looks like a pond!
Scout and I walked home, it sucks not having a car!
