Sleeve and Chain Mod for Guyot Bootle

Guyot Design bottles made from stainless steel (distributed by Nalgene) look like a classic Nalgene bottle but can be used to cook water in.

I want to share my modification of the bottle: bolting a steel chain to it so I can hang it over a fire and making a sleeve made of thin cloth to prevent your backpack/bag getting dirty with soot and tar after having used it over the fire.

The quick lunch in the vid is to show how the mods are used in the field.

hanging it over the fire, it does not really heat up, puting the bottle straight in the fire, it heats up.
if you use it often, it does catch a little bit of soot.
it is importent one chooses a stainless steel chain, no zinc coating!
