Snowshoe Thompson is kind of an American Hero. I heard of him and I am from New York.

I was at my fiancé's grandmother's house and my 2 year old was trying to read the book about snowshoe thompson. I read it to her and saw the addendum at the end. Naturally I was intrigued and looked it up. Glad I could share it.
