I just saw the new stainless Vargo hexa stove is now for sale at Going Gear. Its about 3 or so ounces heavier than the titanium but its $40 compared to $60 for the titanium. Good stove from what people tell me.
 
That's on my list for right after Christmas. I even set the money aside for it, just haven't ordered yet.

I like my titanium hexagon stove a lot, but if the stainless was available when I bought mine last year I'd have gone that route. Even though it is almost double the weight of the titanium, the weight savings of ti over stainless is about $6.66 an ounce...kinda spendy for a barely perceptible weight difference. Shoot, the nylon stowage case the stove comes with probably 3 oz! Of course there is also the Gucci factor with titanium anything :4:
