A little while back, I PMed Solocanoe about what kind of pack it was that I kept seeing in his posts.

Not only did he answer all my questions, but he even offered to send me a spare of the same pack that he had.

Then, before he shipped it out, He saw a post I had made asking about the Mora Companion, and offered to throw one into the pack for me!!!!

I got it today, and am very impressed, both with the gear, and also with Solocanoe's generousity. :)

It is a MOLLE 2 Patrol Pack, the old style one, in woodland camo, and is just a perfect fit for me.

The Mora is a new favorite too, perfect size and the handle is so comfortable.

Thank you Solocanoe, both the pack and Mora are awesome!!! :)

I have already attached a MOLLE 2 buttpack of the pack, and it is a great addition, giving me the option of a waist belt if I want it, and my "beater knife" (a Gerber Prodigy) is straped on the side.

Now to take it for a hike. :3:

Glad you like the pack, bushwolf!

the afternoon mail just delivered your part to me as well- guess it was that kind of day. haha.

I appreciate the added flies and firesteel you put in there too. They will be used for sure!

Glad to hear that your stuff got to you, and on the same day no less. :)
Now go catch some fish. ;)
I highly recomend those 2 orange streamers, they are called a "Wood's Special" and are one of my all time favorites. :)

Glad I Meet up with You bushwolf.
It was nice to see you too, and thanks again for the little Schrade slipjoint, and the flint and steel set. :)

For the record, I will state a second time, I would really like an Old Town pack.
:)

45jack and woods....you guys are the BEST!!!!!

oh man....I just busted out a HUGE laugh that I'm sure echoed down the hall! :p

I just discovered that the Mora Companion's sheath integrates with MOLLE webbing really well.

I also found out that you can tuck the ends of the bedroll straps on top into the hydration blader slots to keep them from flapping around, which is very convinient.
