I just wanted to put some thoughts out there about a fellow member. TopsBlades was discovered on a google search in another forum. He had posted a price of a kydex sheath for a Mora 510. He endured several confusing emails from me, preventing me from buying a sheath that would not work with 511. Since I have never actually seen a 510 I did not know that the handle was smaller. I placed an order with him.
I purchased a few 511's and 2 kydex 510 sheaths and one for my Mora 2k. I was so pleased with his patience, pricing and general manner in helping me. I thought I would post about my experience.
The nitty gritty: Mora 511 really a good blade. He ground the finger guard off and made me a modified kydex (not a major mod just a few minutes of his time) flattened the spine for firesteel duty, and put in lanyard hole and paracord lanyard. If you are looking for a good general duty knife this one is Awesome (Stainless version too) Very good retention! (both models)
Kydex sheath for 511, I was given a few options for carry. I just wanted the basic perfect for multiple carry options. He made the 511 kydex for me. Did I mention the modifying of the knife. Threw in a ranger band on each.
Kydex for mora 2k , this one was plane jane also. Great size I get to modify it how I want large enough surface to epoxy a daimond plate or mount a pouch for tinder/firesteel.
This guy Mr. Rick Pollard earned my business. I was moved to send him an email thanking him I found he was a member on here. I told him I would do a little review. Anyway thank you for reading. To summarize when I realized he was a member on this site I just wanted to give him a shout out as an all around great guy. and he is a good option in my opinion to purchase from.
