Trangia pot stand - so simple it hurts...

Not my idea. I just lucked out on some guy's youtube while surfing around for a compact pot stand for the trangia burner.

This solution is so easy, so basic, so simple. It makes you realize that you are dumb for trying to think up a more complicated solution. Just need some foil as a wind screen and off to the races!

That's right. Insert three nails in burner and balance pot on the points. Need gloves (or multi-tool) to pull out nails in order to snuff flame, but this is as basic as you can get. Love this!

This was a life saver we had to do some cooking rather than just boiling, and had a little food can, some carbon felt from my backcountry boiler and three little aluminum stand/ nail thingies voila--stove!
