my local thrift store has alot of these usgi mss patrol bags with compression sack for 15 dollars is that a good deal and what is the patrol bag tempature rating
 
It's supposed to be a "30" degree bag, but I would rate them as 40 degrees. That's a conservative estimate from a warmer sleeper. You definitley don't want to be sleeping in one around freezing without a fire or extra clothes.
They are very good bags, for being so cheap. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to outfit a youth group, like boy scouts, for a backpacking trip.
 
they are in great shape , im thinking about doing anything i can to get 15 bucks for one ill use it for spring camping,bc my 30* just gets too hot

At 15 bucks, you could even buy a couple extra if you ever want to take some friends camping.

Freinds!!! haha i only have one friend that does camping or bushcraft and hes in the north ga mountans with poor richard and winchester and the others

In great shape, it would work well at the temperatures Justin outlined. It would also be worth $15 at least.
