Video fng needs help

Yeah, I used fng instead of noob. I have next to zero experience with making videos.

I can compose shots and such, but aside from hitting the record button on my phone and moving the file off to my laptop, I don't have a clue.

I'm using a Droid X with all stock software. I want to shoot, clear the sound and do a voiceover, then upload it to youtube. I'm looking through the video editor thread for a program to use there, but beyond that, I don't even know where to begin...

(yeah, I know, I can build a server room from an empty closet, overhaul or build a custom pc, but I don't get much of a chance to play with software!)

Check out Video Spin. It is a free download from the 'net, and has a great tutorial with it. You can mute your sounds and add voice overs, music, etc. You can also make titles, transition effects, and shorten your clips for editing.

I've been using it for my YouTube for over a year. Later you can upgrade to their "Ulitimate" and get alot more features.
