got back a few days ago from doing a overnighter on wayne n.f. i hiked back in about a mile and set up on a creek bottom. i worked on some plant i.d. and bowdrill, which i never did get a coal going. i did manage to take a few mile hike
and took some unique pics.

Looks like a great trip, and the wings out there are a very nice touch I never would have thought of. Also I went too fast through the photos and wondered why you put bowdrill in as plant I.D. (durrrr).

The joys of bowdrill, just when you feel you've got it mastered, mother nature kicks your backside.

Those wings looked outstanding. Can't go wrong with wings and some beers. I like your improvised grill. Great trip report.
