Wood box for the in-laws

I have to go way north next weekend for a late Christmas at my inlaws -the last time I was there they were using a FisherPrice toy box for their wood so for Christmas I thought I would make them a real box.the photos are shiny and reflective as I just put on the last coat of varnish and also why I can't close the lid -but it's done and off the list . When it dries it will be a flat finish but I'm sure I'm going to have to throw the first pieces in and scratch it up for them just to get it over with

Have to be honest when I saw wood box coupled with in laws, I expected something along the lines of a specific "pine box˝.

This on the other hand is a much nicer option. Looks good man.
