Here is a very quick video of how I wear my wool blanket.
I have been wearing this now around the house for about five days, trying to figure out the best way for me. I never liked the blanket pin method...

The belt loop shown is a four strand kangaroo braided bracelet that wraps my wrist five times. With heavy duty loop and hook clips available from any haberdashery.

Allows a double layer bum seat, Hood, Good shoulder coverage and range of movement

This blanket is my new Dutch army wool blanket. Damn this thing is thick, and heavy, I wouldn't want to carry it on a pack so if I took this to the woods as is, this is how I would wear it.

That's pretty cool. I don't think I can accomplush that tough because there hasn't been a haberdashery around my area for nearly 100 years. Lol
