I have two requests.
1. My dad has Stage 4 Bile Duct and Liver Cancer. He’s taking the immunotherapy treatments like a champ, but he is going today for PET scans. The therapy is making him retain fluid in his stomach, arms, and legs. His counts have been low and they cannot do regular chemo at this time.
2. For me. It’s that time of year again and I recently received my Non-Tenure Non-renewal Letter from the School Board. I hate this time of year considering it comes with a hefty weight of “budget cuts” and all things end of school year. There’s 5 more weeks of school left and my PTSD and anxiety is running high from this. My first one came with a “Find a new job next year lecture” and my second one came with a “You’re not the right fit for our school.” I hate this time of year.
