Okay, we have all heard about the $0.25 cent Glock Trigger Job...
It's cool and all, shoot one a bit and it will do one by itself.
Here is the Glock $.025 cent Grip Mod!
So with the Gen 4 & 5's (and now Gen 6's) they come with back straps that most people do not use.
Everyone complains about Glock's grip angle...
It's not great but certainly doable.
Take the included back strap, the one without the ridges on the inside, and cut it about 1/2 - 3/4's the way up.
Do this slowly and fit to your hand. You want the cut resting comfortably just above the meatiest part of your thumb.
Sand the rough edges out...

What la!
This will dramatically improve the grip angle of your Glock.
No more, (in my case) a slightly higher natural point of aim while using the Glock platform.
You do not have to find a specific backstrap for G17, G19, G45, G47, and G48.
They will all work interchangeably before you cut them.
But, you have to do one for the G19, and the G17/45 separately. They do not rest in the right location between the two frame sizes.

This thing is absolutely amazing on my G19, as you can see it's a tad short for my G45 grip.

With the G45, it works equally well but for me the comfort and point-ability is more noticed on the G19.
Doing this mod, just about eliminates my desire for placing an additional flared magwell on my G19.
You can really choke up on the grip!
A HUGE plus if you cannot alter your firearms for those in LE or competitors that have to follow stock regulations.
Stay tuned as I will be gluing them on with JB Weld, and doing a few light frame mods such as an under cut, and placing Silicon Carbide grip texture on them.
The silicon carbide will cover up any transition lines and add a killer grip. - I am sure these future mods will be a no go for many types that have to follow regulations.
Enjoy!
