I'm ashamed to say that there's a lot more where those came from. They just seem to multiply and breed on their own. If anything, I need to start culling 'em.

But didn't you drill the hole exactly where you set your lips if you drink?
I would have drilled it at the opposite side in the middle.
I think it would be intelligent to cut a thread into the pot and close the hole with a shortened screw, head outside.
These corks exist readily available in silicone. Should a metal tube work better, what I expect too, you surely can put it better in a silicone plug than a cork and it should be more durable too in the rucksack.

I am late to the party, but I do love using canteen kits. In my experience, I find the L handle difficult to lock in place properly, especially in winter. I want to love it, especially when I want to wear mittens, but it fails a lot due to human error and dexterity when it's cold. Butterfly handles are less finicky with cold fingers .Do you prefer the old L-shaped canteen cup handle of the butterfly handles?
I love the L handle but I agree with the wing handles are more convenient, I just use a multitool to pull out the L handle catch but one of these days I will damage it if I’m not careful.I am late to the party, but I do love using canteen kits. How do you like the mini?Out in the woods I recently got a bushbuddy mini. A quick cup of tea on my walk. Still wet in the woods here. Ice and mud.
