Knife Gallery -- Pics

Nice carrolls custom scales. I got a set on my cub as well and it made the knife way more comfortable in use

I would have gotten rid of the knife it it weren't for the Carroll's Custom Scales. The original G10 was too thin and too slick for my preferences, and the aftermarket scales fixed both problems. Now it makes me consider other production knives that I would never normally acquire just because I think the scale upgrade will be a game changer on those, too.

I pretty much stopped buying customs last year for this reason. There are so many over the counter upgrades available that can just be ordered no sending the knife out etc. it definitely panned out IMO.

Yeah, but I'm still stuck on that walnut-handled ESEE you had Jordan do - that thing is sweet. :32:

More pics of the fire and food in the campfire cooking thread on the forums here if you like.

I carried a wave plus for over a year loved it but it just wasn't good. Clunky in it's operation I'll call it. So I switched to other things.
I was recently reminded that I love the option and decided to try they're supposedly best offering these days. I'm very happy with it so far. The machining alone is ridiculous and my wave IMO pales in comparison.
It clicks and does things so well.

It's not perfect I think the frame edges are very raw but mechanically it's pretty damned good.

Clip point straight jack in 14C28N and OD green micarta
3.5" closed
SS bolster, pinned shield, mill relieved liners, pinched bolsters

That is just an a elegant well thought out knife. I really like the simplicity of a single blade slipjoint. (a good sized clip combined with a pen knife blade is another favorite)

I understand you don't have this one for sale yet; do you use a website, or do I just need to look out for you on the vendor thread?

thats a nice one ive thought about it as well
i have the rebar and while it is a decent multitool i still end up needing or wanting my fixed blade or buck 110 as the wrking blade on the rebar just cant cover what i like in a edc blade But it has saved me alot of trips wen i do have it on me
i keep it piggy backed on esse junglas mostly

might need to give the arc a shot

If I posted this before, I apologize!

The SAK continues to be a constant companion. 2 cutting blades and an awl are just dang handy and I really like the Electrician blade for opening/cutting stuff around my grandkids. The Garberg is not perfect but its sized well and honestly well thought out. Carrying a pocket knife like the SAK helps with the Garberg's biggest weakness - slicing, and in turn the Garberg spares the SAK from rough work (although Alox SAKs are hardly fragile).

Hi, I don't have a formal web site just yet. Currently, just an instagram https://www.instagram.com/ash.handmade.knives

When I've sold in the past, I've posted it on my instagram to the classifieds here, bladeforums, and there are some facebook groups. My goal is to set up an email list and sell first to a list.

thanks for the interest
