Genetics and eating complex carbs (pizza, pasta, potatoes, etc). I'm 6'-1" #232 and active but here we are. LolWhat is that? A salad?
Really sorry to hear about the diabetes. How the heck did you get that?
You certainly seemed fit when I met ya. And you're active...
Although if memory serves, Jay Cuttler was found to be diabetic when he was playing with Denver.
Not that that explains his erratic play and attitude through his career. Just him getting tired and they found out why.
Stick with the diet requirements![]()

This looks good! Red onions, vinegar, and crunch go a very long way.Big changes after finding out I'm diabetic... even lunch on the road is low carb now.

Thank you for that info. I will keep my eyes open for those. Fortunately there are few fillers in salad, carrots, celery, eggs, cheese, yogurt, etc.Another thing for you to watch for is the modified food starch & maltodextrin. They are used as fillers and are in almost everything .... they cause blood sugar spikes worse than sugar & carbs .... they are the leading cause of insulin resistance ->diabetis.
