New Tires! Thanks President Trump!

My gosh! I had no idea truck tires had gotten SO expensive! Thanks to President Trump we got a huge bump in our tax return so I was finally able to get the truck some badly needed and really nice tires.

That's fine...I would just have spent it on gas and eggs. This way you can get something cooler. Or, better yet, throw it into a market account for a high performing growth fund.

Those tires have never been cheap. I know cause I used to run them on my 85 straight axle.

I bought a new 2004 F150 , it came with B. F. Goodrich long trails the original set still had good tread , the side walls started cracking at 99K miles. I put a second set on it. When the harmonic balancer came apart screwing up the crank shaft at 193K miles it was still running that second set of B. F. Goodrich tires
My toy money isn’t back to 2017-2021 levels yet , but it a lot better than the 2021-2025 . In that time period I gain $5+ an hour yet lost more than I gained in expendable money. (Toy money) luckily I make enough that I didn’t suffer but a lot of people did

Tires went through the roof during Covid! Put Falken tires on my truck in 2020, $167.00. 2022 they were $263.00. The pricing we are seeing now on many products is from Covidflation! I honestly believe that once we paid the ridiculous price, companies decided to never decrease. Covid was the excuse to raise prices because of the short term affects of shutdowns, they lied!

8 ply ,that will do you better on dirt roads. I try to stay with Falken's . In fact I just bought a new set three weeks ago for the mirthmobile cruiser. ( Buick Lucerne). But also have them on my truck and Jeep.
