Pics from your canoe/kayak

Last evening I did my first paddle for the year and it was hot and the water is way down.
I jumped in and moved some branches blocking the way and did some sawing from the canoe.

That $5 yard sale CORONA is way better like I figured than my folding Rexbeti saw for bigger stuff. 6” dry wood was still a little tough.
There’s a mile cleared now of my regular 1.5 mile up and back paddle route.
Eagle’s nest must’ve fell with wind since it’s gone.IMG_9854.jpeg

I have 3 trips planned to the Adirondacks for this Fall, so I decided to start getting in some needed conditioning.
The weather cooled off a little so I took advantage to get in a 5 mile paddle on some local water. I'm sure feeling it next day.

A day a few years ago scalloping in the gulf.

Coming back to the ramp

Back at the ramp, facing the creek we just used to get to/from the gulf.

A local bay heading into a lake one day after night shift.

Getting back to ramp after a fishing trip.
