Finally got around to making a primitive knife pouch for a classic Bowen trapper knife.
It is actually two pouches. One inside the other. The interior pouch is made from light weight 3-4 ounce carving leather. The outer distressed leather is very old and unknown. Outer leather is attached to interior pouch using duro contac cement.
The big trapper measures 4 1/2 inches in length.

Not an easy project. I had to make a tiny chisel to punch all the holes. Modify needles for the sinew. laying out the slits and punching took hours to do.
