my buddy and I did a pre 1840 event this weekend. we set this up, but due to some unforeseen issues at home we had to come home Friday night instead of staying there. this is a 8x12 HFT painters tarp thats been sprayed with thompsons water seal. we keep the tripod in our covered trailer, and recently I harvested some nice 12 ft long bamboo poles . we rigged this up with 4 steel stakes we made out of 1/2" rebar. In my selfie pic you can see where we used an additional 12 ft bamboo to fly our Betsy Ross flag. we had some friends set up a canopy next to us as we chose the only level groud for our setup.
