The Underwood Multi-Tool (circa 1850) Decades before the first Swiss army knife (1891), Underwood of London's Hay market made this pocket 'harp' kit. Designed for Victorian sportsmen, it features a saw, a corkscrew... A rare nineteenth-century masterpiece of portability.

According to this site ( https://www.core77.com/posts/128506/A-19th-Century-Multi-Tool-Design ), it is a dosing cup for powdered medication. But is reminded me of the spoon my grandma used for snuff.

H. Underwood was a cutlery manufacturer of Drury Lane, London, from the 1820's to the early 1900's. Underwood made some very nice blades too.
