victorinox camper/ swiss army knife ?

bought one at the flea market the other day but it was hard to open i got all of them were they would open but the middle one i dont even know what it is does anyone have a idea on how to get it to open

I had the same prob.
I soaked it in goo be gone over night than lube.
And now it works like a charm.

The middle blade is the saw, great tool, if you can get it free and working.
 
I gave $4 for my camper at a thrift store. Goes with me everywhere.

Some Rem Oil should free the saw up. The back of the saw blade throws great sparks off the ferro as well. It and the Hiker have the best tool set for bushcrafting imo in the cellidor line. In alox it's the Farmer.
 
I've had my Camper for close to 20 years. Other than a drop of oil every couple of years, it's been maintenance free.

Just the tools you need and nothing you don't.

I've handled a lot of secondhand SAKs and have found that often what is causing the blades to be sluggish or bind is a sugary residue...like petrified fruit juice. Petroleum based lubricants don't seem to do a good job of dissolving that. I would suggest a wash and soak in soapy water and working the blades back and forth...lubricate after drying.

scwilderness - the end of the saw protrudes slightly past the end of the knife...that is where you would pull it open.
