Winter Storm Hernando/Blizzard

Ain't seen 2' of snow since the blizzard of 93 (Storm of the Century) surprised the South. Yep, 2' of snow in Northeast Alabama is not something you see very often. Back then, you didn't have to show 5 forms of ID to shovel snow like just NY imposed on it's residence.

I like watching live streams of people driving in the snow... looking at all the wrecks I have seen so far, people up North don't drive any better than we do.

Just saw your thread and thought I'd check in from SE PA. The snow started a couple hours ago. It's pretty windy already. The pup didn't want to stay out for too long. Blizzard conditions expected to start around 7pm and go on until about 4am. Snow and wind after that until about 2pm. Grateful for the wood stove just in case we need it. I love the snow, just don't appreciate the letters from the township because my sidewalk hasn't been shoveled within the 12 hour timeframe. That's life in suburbia (sigh).
