Nice, gotta love fire.Part II
Decided to try the punk wood and this was by far the most difficult. I ended up using most of my tin before ignition. Transferring the ember from the tin needs some practice, used the piece of flint as a scoop. Lots of smoke, but no ignition, and when it finally lit, it was a long incubation.

Last but not least. I used the flint on a ferro rod. Wow, massive sparks. Took a little bit as Tinder kept getting blown off the bark. Certainly a fun time was had! Thanks for looking!

Yes sir I always carry two lighters why not two strikers. To be honest if you would of told me 50 years ago I would be making fire with flint and steel, I would of said don't have time for that but now it fun and I have always like to challenge myself, Now I can get and ember in my mancave now take it outside when the weather not the best and see if I can get it done.Great job…be careful, strikers have a way of multiplying!
